The project stalled. The next change needs a plan.
Ask Buc helps organizations assess interrupted migrations and difficult infrastructure projects. Establish the facts, protect the recovery options and define the next safe milestone before committing more time or budget.

First, stop relying on assumptions.
Identify the current system state, the changes already made, available backups, application dependencies, active failures and who has authority to approve recovery work. A proposed fix is not a recovery plan until its impact is understood.
What the initial assessment produces
A current-state summary, known failures and unknowns, immediate risk priorities, available recovery paths and a recommendation for the next stage. We distinguish diagnostic work from the implementation required to complete or reverse the project.
Recovery work across connected systems
Server migrations, Active Directory and identity issues, file services, virtualization, storage, network dependencies, Microsoft 365 transitions and operating handoffs can be part of the engagement. Specialist application or forensic work is identified separately.
A deliberate path forward
Assess the environment. Confirm the recovery options. Repair prerequisites. Validate the next change. Complete the migration or agree an alternative path. Document acceptance and the remaining operating responsibilities.
The goal is a controlled outcome—not defending the original plan when the evidence no longer supports it.

Start with a high-level description.
Tell us the intended change, what stopped working, the current impact and whether recovery copies exist. Do not send credentials or system exports through the inquiry form. This form is not an emergency-response dispatch; immediate coverage must be arranged directly.
