Modernize the systems your business depends on.
Infrastructure changes affect applications, users and daily operations—not just hardware. Ask Buc plans and delivers modernization work with the dependencies, recovery options and operating handoff accounted for.

Start with the environment—not the equipment quote.
Understand the workloads, business priorities, capacity, lifecycle, licensing and recovery requirements before choosing a platform. An assessment may identify that the right answer is an upgrade, a migration, a targeted repair or keeping part of the current environment.
On-premises, cloud and hybrid options should be evaluated against the actual workload rather than a predetermined sales target.
Servers and operating systems
Map application dependencies, source and destination versions, backup readiness, maintenance windows and acceptance tests. Separate the platform change from application remediation and confirm vendor participation where required.
Virtualization and storage
Review the current virtualization estate, supported workloads, licensing, storage connectivity, capacity and operating skills. Compare suitable options and plan the transition around compatibility and recovery—not a blanket promise that every workload moves the same way.
Identity, networks and connected services
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, remote access and application authentication can determine whether a migration succeeds. Include these dependencies in the plan rather than finding them after cutover.
A controlled project sequence
Discover: document the starting state and unresolved questions.
Design: identify the target, prerequisites, technical responsibilities and acceptance criteria.
Prepare: validate backups and access, schedule the work and communicate affected services.
Implement: execute changes in controlled stages with evidence and decision checkpoints.
Validate: test the agreed technical and user scenarios, record exceptions and confirm the handoff.
Stabilize: address in-scope post-change issues during the defined stabilization period.
What you receive
The statement of work defines the design, implementation tasks, testing, documentation and handoff. Typical artifacts include an environment summary, dependency map, change sequence, rollback criteria, acceptance record and outstanding-item register.
A recoverable backup and a documented plan reduce risk; neither is a universal guarantee of zero downtime or zero data loss.
A project already stopped moving?
We can begin with a recovery assessment of the actual state, changes already made and safe next steps. Do not keep making speculative changes to a production system while the recovery path is unknown.
Define the investment before implementation
Workload count, application complexity, source-system condition, licensing, on-site requirements and service windows affect price. Major migrations are separate from ordinary workstation support unless the agreement specifically includes them.
