Clear scope. Accountable execution. A handoff you can use.

Good work starts with the right problem and ends with an outcome the client can evaluate. Here is how an Ask Buc engagement moves from the first conversation into delivery.

1. Understand the problem.

Discuss the business need, current process, systems, constraints and what improvement would matter. A first conversation establishes fit; it is not a free comprehensive technical audit or a purchase.

2. Establish the facts.

Some projects can be scoped from available information. Others need a paid assessment before a reliable implementation proposal is possible. We identify the difference before technical work begins.

3. Agree the work.

The proposal defines deliverables, responsibilities, access, coverage, pricing, exclusions, third-party dependencies and acceptance. Identify the client decision-maker and how changes to scope will be approved.

4. Prepare and deliver.

Set up the working process, verify prerequisites and make changes through the agreed plan. Use controlled testing and checkpoints for systems or workflows where an error would affect operations.

5. Validate and hand over.

Review completed work against acceptance criteria. Record exceptions, documentation, access ownership and ongoing responsibilities. Completion is not merely a task marked done in a ticket system.

6. Continue with purpose.

An ongoing agreement adds a defined operating responsibility, review cadence and allocation of capacity. A completed project can stand alone. Additional services should solve a clear problem rather than create more subscriptions.

What you should always know

Who owns the next action, what is included, what needs your approval, where records live and how an issue or scope change is handled. Those answers should remain clear from proposal through offboarding.
