Askbuc, Inc. SMS Opt-In
This page documents how Askbuc, Inc. collects express written consent from consumers prior to sending any SMS or text message communications.
How Askbuc Collects SMS Opt-In Consent
Consumer Initiates Contact
A prospective client or existing customer visits askbuc.com and navigates to the Contact page or a service-specific inquiry form. The consumer voluntarily fills out the form to request a consultation, assessment, or more information about Askbuc's enterprise IT and AI services.
Explicit SMS Opt-In Checkbox
The contact form includes a clearly labeled, unchecked-by-default checkbox that the consumer must actively select to consent to SMS communications. The checkbox language reads:
I agree to receive SMS/text messages from Askbuc, Inc. at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
Consent Is Not a Condition of Service
Consumers are clearly informed that providing consent to receive SMS messages is not required to receive services from Askbuc, Inc. The form can be submitted without checking the SMS consent box, and the consumer will still receive a response via email or phone call.
Consent Record Stored Securely
Upon form submission, Askbuc records the consumer's consent timestamp, IP address, phone number, and the exact consent language displayed at the time of submission. This record is stored securely in our encrypted database and retained for a minimum of 4 years in compliance with TCPA requirements.
Opt-Out Honored Immediately
Consumers may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message received. Opt-out requests are processed immediately and no further SMS messages are sent. Consumers may also contact us at (219) 256-5454 or [email protected] to request removal.
